Diesel engine cars – Tough competitors of gasoline cars

Remember the noisy monsters that polluted the environment, giving away loads of waste gases. These were unreliable cars that heavy weight diesel engines were extremely unpopular in United States. Even today some states like Vermont, Massachusetts, New York and California purchasing and using diesel vehicles is difficult due to the high emission standard enforced in these states.

Well, times are changing fast and so are the cars that run on diesel engines. We see many sophisticated. We many small, compact cars, luxury cars, SUV’s etc loaded diesel engines that meet the tough emission standards. These cars have all luxury and safety features and have all attributes that gasoline cars have. 

Though diesel cars are a bit expensive than the car run on gasoline, their advantage lies in longer runs when you can get extra miles to the gallons, easy to maintain. Buyers of diesel cars will also find many additional features and bio-diesel options available.

Diesel engine cars are no longer monsters that spread pollution. In fact the new diesel engine cars are all set to give gasoline and hybrids cars tough competition.
